Known for being man's best friend, dogs are our furry family members that we can't get enough of. They come in a variety of shapes, sizes, colors, and breeds, and in terms of companionship, there seems to be a perfect option for everyone. No matter if you own a dog or not, you have likely had a precious encounter with at least some type of dog in your lifetime. They help us stay in shape, bring us our slippers, comfort us when we're sad, guard our homes, guide the blind, and many other invaluable actions that money can't buy.

Nevertheless, not everyone is a dog lover and when they are, they typically only prefer certain types. Some people prefer small, quiet dogs to snuggle with, while others prefer huge, vicious dogs to help secure their properties. Others still prefer a mixture of these traits, allowing them to have an all-around companion in their company at all times. Either way, dogs are intricately intertwined with our everyday experiences as humans.

However, no matter how much any of us loves dogs, most of us tend to study only the details that are relevant to our own pets. While some of us know 101 facts about Dalmatians, others of us spend all of our time finding the best ways to housebreak and train pit bulls. On the other hand, there are plenty of people who swear that Chihuahuas are the epitome of puppy companionship, while others maintain that they're the evilest pet species on the planet. In short, a well-versed dog-lover is hard to find. Rather, most people love only a certain type of dog and spend most of their time researching facts and figures that help them reiterate that they have found the best dog breed in the world.

Luckily, we're sure this does not apply to you. You're a knowledgeable pet lover that knows a variety of facts about every dog breed on the planet, right? We wouldn't have it any other way.
