Kathryn has written for numerous publications, from newspapers to magazines, as a professional for the past four years. Before becoming a journalist, Kathryn worked as a copy editor and page designer for a publishing company. This experience helped her become a proficient spelling, grammar and fact checker. Her jobs working for publishing companies started after she graduated from college with a journalism degree. During college, she was a news editor for her university's paper and spent about two months in Slovakia and Pennsylvania completing an internship for a magazine. Besides writing professionally, Kathryn also dabbles in a number of creative writing outlets that help her fine-tune her skills and play with unconventional styles, perspectives, characters and story lines. Kathryn is interested in language and literature, marketing, all aspects of art, science and medicine, travel and tourism, and sports.
