Flags let the world know that the group it represents belongs to a community, an organization, or a nation. For this quiz, we will look at national flags. Every country has its own national flag. To date, there are 195 countries in the world, and each of these countries is represented by a flag. Do you know them all?

The first flags came to be around the 18th century. These pieces of cloth told the people that the land is owned by a certain entity and that the entity ruled over the people and property of that area. Nowadays, flags are flown by the government of the nation it represents. However, it can also be flown by its citizen as a sign of patriotism and as a form of identification.

National flags come in unique designs that usually have symbolic meanings. For example, some feature the crescent shape as a representation of Islam. Even the colors are meant to have some meaning.
